Chris Watermeier

Mr. Watermeier has been a construction manager for over 20 years with experience in a variety of different types of construction in the Governmental and Private Sector. His experience is inclusive of both Design-Build and Design-BidBuild and ranges from managing the foundation, super-structure, and exterior skin on the 26 story Harrah’s Poydras St. Hotel to a $62 million, 7 project contract with the United States Navy. Mr. Watermeier has successfully directly managed over $100 mil of work for the United States Department of Defense. In the municipal arena, Mr. Watermeier was project manager several of the area’s notable projects such as Jazzland Theme Park and Harrah’s Poydras Street Hotel. Post Katrina, Mr. Watermeier was the Project Manager for the $20 million post-Katrina repairs to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Phases I, II and III while concurrently managing the storm damage repairs to Harrah’s Casino. Over the past 4 years, Mr. Watermeier has worked as a Construction Manager and Owner’s Representative assisting owners in procurement of contractors, budgeting for their project, scheduling, procurement and scheduling of FF&E, and execution of their projects.
