Located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, The Sulzer Group offers professional services in the areas of project management, disaster recovery, advocacy before regulatory boards and agencies, procurement and administration of contracts, construction management and regulatory compliance. The Sulzer Group is led by graduate architect Karen M. Sulzer, and attorney Deborah M. Sulzer. Our company includes professionals with years of experience in the areas of architecture, law, engineering, advocacy, contracts, government contracting, procurement, construction, accounting, and governmental relations. The Sulzer Group has specific experience in the supervision and management of projects dependent upon Federal Disaster Assistance. Since 2006, our company has managed over $90 million in construction, much of which was dependent upon Federal Disaster Assistance. The Sulzer Group has assisted clients in obtaining over $80 million in federal disaster assistance to aid in recovery efforts.

The Sulzer Group has particular experience in the supervision and management of FEMA Project Worksheets including management of design, construction and coordination with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security & Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP). The Sulzer Group is the premiere company in the region able to manage all aspects of the application process from damage assessment to eligibility claim resolution to project close-out.
