Our Lady of Lourdes School Slidell, Louisiana
Our Lady of Lourdes School sustained devastating damage to its campus during Hurricane Katrina. Several of the school buildings were determined to be beyond repair and eligible for actual cost replacement under the Federal Disaster Public Assistance program. The Sulzer Group was selected to be the Owner’s Representative and Project Manager in connection with the FEMA funded replacement of the campus by:
- Acting as Construction Manager to ensure quality and compliance with approved plans and specifications
- Reviewing invoices for accuracy and compliance with FEMA procedures to insure reimbursement of eligible costs
- Overseeing scope of work changes and cost adjustment version requests to FEMA
